Florida 'loud music' trial juror: 'I believed he was guilty'

There were different races of people on the jury, for all we know, it could have been 2 black folks and someone else that hung the jury.

It's just sad that this kid is ONLY going to get justice on a fluke of law. That's because he had friends that survived the attack, he gets to go to jail. If they'd been killed, or he was by himself, Michael Dunn, for all his racist rants, his lies, his feelings of victimhood, would be on the street today.

Maybe. Maybe they thought the attempted murder charges were good enough. Maybe they were smart enough not to let the gun freaks on the jury win this one.

That might be true, but if my son were murdered, and the killer got convicted on trying to kill someone else but not him, I wouldn't call it justice.

Doing it this way, they might as well be saying that Jordan Davis deserved to be killed.

Please note, VJ is now a family friendly site. There will be no more race, murder, religious or gun discussion which may affect the multitudes of children using and viewing this site. That will be much more shocking to them than the same sex immigration.

This way, there will be a trial just on the murder of Jordan Davis. What is wrong with that? Would you rather they found Dunn guilty of 2nd Degree Murder, Felony Manslaughter, or even determined it was a Justifiable Homicide under Florida's Stand Your Ground Law?

You got to fight your fights better, Marvin. This one is not over yet, not at all.

It's not mainstream and can be devastatingly frightening to the hoards of heterosexual children who frequent this site.

Most of America now supports same sex marriage. That makes it main stream.

In U.S., 52% Back Law to Legalize Gay Marriage in 50 States

Blame Modern Family.

Just cuz it's legal doesn't mean it's mainstream, does it? Just think of all the children here trying to comprehend that heavy concept.

Which is exactly why I was against labeling the jury as racist simply because they came back with a decision we didn't like.

Never said it was racist. I'm talking about the fear of black men/boys.

I don't think the jury was like they're black so it's ok. It's more of a subconscious idea that black young men are inherently more dangerous than anyone one else.

If you think not, consider this. Jordan Davis had no record, was a decent student, and never got into any trouble. Michael Dunn was clearly a racist POS, who had no issues shooting into a car full of teenagers, leaving without calling 911, not even telling his girl there was a gun, and lying about a weapon when there wasn't one. Not only that, he laughs about being locked up because he thinks he's the victim. His actions and words paint him as a unrepentant racist that doesn't even care about the life he took, and his lies are as clear as the blue sky. There were witnesses that saw no shotgun, nor did they see the kid leave the car. Yet, 3 people on the jury believed that this kid was going to kill this man, even thought there wasn't a single shred of evidence to prove this,

So, even when a person is outright lying and it's shown in court, you have folks that would rather believe this man than the 3 black teenagers who were there and survived.

...

Seriously?

Read up on this case. Look at some of the letters he's written from jail.

There's no doubt in ANYONE'S mind that this guy is a racist.

Marvin Jesus. Back away from the edge. He was not found not guilty. It was a mistrial more than likely because of the murder one charge.

Young black men are more dangerous than most other groups. Statistical fact. You may not like. It. There are numerous causes but fact it is. They account for many many times Thierry share of crime based on percent of population

Seriously. The only thing I heard/read about it was how he was claiming to be the "victorious victim". Never read anything about racial stuff, but I didn't research it much after I heard his phone call to his girl claming to be a victim.

He was complaining about being in a cell with three black guys, calling them thugs and animals.

Oh and:

This jail is full of blacks and they all act like thugs. … This may sound a bit radical but if more people would arm themselves and kill these **** idiots when they’re threatening you, eventually they may take the hint and change their behavior.”

Not surprising. I wouldn't expect much different, being in jail. Though I doubt the color of their skin had little to do with their thuggishness or animal-like qualities.
