Advice on being breathless.

Thank you guys all soo much, ive decided im going to go and see a doctor about this....... i would rather check it out and be in debt than go on worrying like this.

I'm not wanting to scare you either, but a close friend of mine died a few years ago from a massive heart attack and she was only 33. She had been short of breath, etc and all her doctors said she was depressed and having panic attacks and were putting her on different meds for that. She insisted to have a stress test and a chest X-Ray which were both normal. What she really needed was a cardiac cath. Since she was so young of course her family wanted an autopsy which showed severe coronary artery disease. Don't mess around with chest pains. I don't think anyone is too young for any health problems these days. Take care

I have panic attacks and it can make you feel breathless, but also check out pleurisy if the pain is on inhalation....

I've had that twice and it produces chest pain with shortness of breath....

I would go to the ER if I had to......good luck!

Yep, Pleurisy is on inhalation, often a shooting pain which reaches up from the liver area right up to the shoulder blade.

Lizzy, I'm glad you are seeking medical advice. You will probably find out that it is nothing serious and will not cost you too much. It'll put your mind at rest too.
