Hey there, MRS Noura. Feel good? Our day will hopefully be Saturday. We'll confirm that tomorrow.

I cannot believe how much we crammed into one day yesterday. We went out for lunch, then picked up the kids and spent the afternoon at the mall. After we pulled a very reluctant Mohammed out of the guitar shop we all sat around the apartment playing video games and watching a movie. It was so sweet, my youngest son was rubbing Mohammed's back because he said he was tired and Mohammed fell asleep. Boom, no more Mohammed. I woke him at 10 to go to bed. Leaving for work this morning was SOOOO incredibly difficult. But thank goodness the day is zooming by. Its a whole new world today. I feel I can breathe again. HE'LL BE THERE WAITING FOR ME WHEN I GET HOME!!!! No more evenings sitting on the stupid telephone. HOORAY!!!!

I'm baaaack! Man! That was such a looooong weekend! We not only had one party this weekend, but two! Saturday night we had BBQed lamb and cooked lamb, and three different salads. There were 9 of us. On New Year's eve we had pizzas andplayed board games until 11:55pm, when my alarm went off to tell everyone we only had 5 min left of 2006. Then, someone got the champagne out and was about to open it with everyone sitting around and I got nervous and asked for it to be opened in the kitchen. THe guy didn't like that I asked him to do something so no one would get hurt and he took his wife and left. My husband ran after them and they popped a cork outside and it went flying. I therefore was the cause of a party going bad at midnight because I was looking out for everyones safety. So the begining of 2007 was off to a bad start. Also my husband had a cold on Sunday and it's continued into today and he sounds miserable. I didn't feel well yesterday so I rested up and now I am at work.

But the good news of 2007 so far is.... We're going to Morocco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hubby called me today to tell me that he bought our tickets this morning for $680 each!!! Yay! We are leaving on Feb 16th from JFK and will be arriving in Casablanca early in the morning on the 17th. We will be back on March 11th. I hope 3 weeks is long enough for us.

Well I have to go get to work. I hope you all had a great weekend and a Happy New Year!

Glad others think I was being safe and not just being controling or a party pooper.

Did I mention that the bottle that would have been opened inside with all the people around, me and two other took outside and opened it after they left, and that sucker went flying and we couldn't find it anywhere yesterday! Imagine if the guy, who claimed he knew what he was doing, accidently let it fly and it hit someone. Not only would someone be hurt, possibibly lose and eye or something, but it would be my and my husbands liability. I don't think we could handle all the medical bills for anyone, not ever ourselves.

pat yourself on the back. in this day of liability for said events, you headed off trouble before it began. i'd have done the same thing you did - consider the consequences of such along with the herd of lawyers that would show up should someone be injured.

don't invite that clown back to any more parties, btw ;)
