When can we apply online for Interview / Biometrics K-1 Visa Mumbai, India?

Please help me I'm so confused!!!

We are filing for K-1 visa and our interview location is Mumbai, India.

So my fiancee got a letter saying that he has to get the PCC and the medical done first and then we can go online and schedule an appointment for an interview/biometrics.

However usatraveldocs website says that the medical must be before 4-7 days before the interview. Obviously we will not get an interview that early. So what is that all about?

Also, can we schedule the interview now because he is scheduled to pick up his PCC on the 24th of Feb and his medical is on the 1st of March? I am really hesitant to do this, but does anyone have any experience with this. Please let us know!!

We already filled out the DS-160 form.

Get your PCC and the medical reports post this you can go on ustraveldocs.com make the payment and schedule the interview..........it is not compulsory to have the medical 4-7 days before interview.

It says "at least" 7 days before your interview appointment at the consulate.

Wife had her interview on Feb 3rd and got her Medical done on Jan 17th (2 weeks before the interview).
