Hello:

My wife and I recently moved. My wife completed and filed an AR-11 online with no problem. She received a confirmation #. After reviewing the details online, I was under the impression I had to file a I-865, Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address. Given we live in Wisconsin, I saw that we needed to send it to USCIS - Nebraska Service Center PO Box 87485 Lincoln, NE 68501-7485. I went to the USPS and they tracked the document.

I assumed everything was fine. Today when I stopped at home I had the package returned to sender. I double checked the address with the USCIS and they said the address was fine. I am lost what to do next as the form cannot be sent online. Has anyone else had this issue? Has the address changed? Thank you for your time and help!

Hi,

I had the same issue. I sent my I-865 to Nebraska (I live in Washington Sate), and it came back. I called USCIS and they told me to try to send it again. While tracking it on the USPS site, I saw that it was labled "Return to Sender" yet again.

I called USCIS, again, and after being transferred I spoke with a USCIS Officer. She said the address has changed.

The new address is:

USCIS Nebraska Service Center

PO Box 82521

Lincoln, NE 68501-2521

Don't know why it's not updated on their website. According to the first returned I-865 the "Forwarding Order Expired", which means it's been at least 6 months since the move...maybe more than a year.

I have not sent a new I-865 to the new address yet (just got the information about 15 minutes ago), but figured you'd like to know ASAP

Hope this works for you (and me).

Good luck
