Hi all Happy New Year

We have a question needing answering. I'm here in WA with Lorry going back to Nova Scotia Jan 3

We've been getting everything together that I'll be requiring for my interview in Montreal when the time comes

Will I need a copy of Lorry's last income tax return? We've looked in numerous boxes and can't find it. Is it necessary to have that return with me She has already the letter from her employer and pay stubs showing income for the yr.

Any assistance would be of great help to us

Thanks

Allie & Lorry

Not quite sure about Montreal, but Vancouver did want the income tax return with the W2. I'm assuming Montreal is as #######, if not more so?

You MUST have the tax records.

Either the actual copies of your filed tax returns WITH the W2's as well.

All is not lost though. Just have Lorry call the IRS toll free number and tell them you need your tax return TRASNCRIPTS. They will verify some information from Lorry and then they will put the transcripts in the mail for you. You should have them in a week to 10 days. Be sure to specify exactly which years you need. If you have a PRIVATE fax machine at home or in the office which NO ONE else uses, you can ask them to fax them instead of mailing them. You will usually get the faxes in about 2 days. That's how I got mine.

Good Luck
