and as a childless person that goes out to dinner to enjoy I appreciate that

Time to get busy, get the pipes working again, and make some babies !

No, I not care with who, but it'd be great if'n you got yer lass involved with the process.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

what really amazes me is you thought I was serious

Yes, I think that was your exposed thought process and now you are censoring it.

I just laughed out loud..Do you really think I would draw a weapon on an unruly toddler.

You anti gun folks really think gun owners think like that don't you. I say stuff like that and I was ridding thru the hood with rounds chambered in both guns, to make light of the absurd

Yes, all these court cases that are discussed here prove to me that all too many gun owners do think like this. And furthermore, they act on it. And that the NRA is teaching them to think like this, so that the gun manufacturers who fund the NRA can make more profit.

I am not anti-gun. I am against the current gun culture that the NRA promotes, that leads to killing teenagers for pretending to be "badass."

Nice regurgitation of the party line

You are right , most gun owners I know advocate killing kids for being loud in public

You sound just like MBD

All killers are human. But not all humans are killers. The same holds true for gun owners. Not all gun owners are out to pull a gun on someone, let alone kill them. I know a LOT of people who own guns, and I mean a lot. As in more than 500 personally. And not a SINGLE ONE has ever pulled a gun on another human to my knowledge (can't speak to what happens behind closed doors late at night when family feuds happen). And THAT is the norm. For every person who kills a person with a gun, there are probably a thousand or more people who are as responsible with a gun as you are with a kitchen knife.

Yes, and I think responsible gun owners should be trying to change the conversation, to promote safety, responsibility, and respect, instead of making jokes about pointing guns at kids, like NB just did.

It's not funny to joke about killing people. Ever.

I was not joking about killing them . i was joking about brandishing a weapon rudely or perhaps nicking the rug rats

Oh dear Lord eye roll

Yes the crime rate is thru the roof and it's the NRA's fault

It's pretty dam obvious he wasn't being serious. It's called satire, something which this particular thread is FULL of. BS is another thing, but we won't go into that.

If you thought he was being serious, you're in the minority. I know I didn't.

How old were you? I don't think my 2 year old would get the significance of me not paying. She'd just be upset we're going home. There is no punishment greater than the threat of going home because at home she has to do scary things like take showers and get totally bored by naps.

My dad says I was age two.

Try it, report back!

i used to do that with kids I would babysit. If they were acting up in a store or whatever I would tell them we were going to leave if they continued. If they continued we would leave. They would be shocked that I actually followed through..
