VAWA Question, just curious!

Lately, I have been seeing few people got approved for VAWa and I was just curious how is it affecting the petitioner (the original petitioner who petition this people beneficiary (beneficiary files for VAWA).

My question:

1. How is this going to affect the petitioner?

2. Does the beneficiary(who files VAWA) have to let the petitioner know that they are going to file VAWA?

3. Does the beneficiary (who files VAWA) need to be living with the petitioner while the application for VAWA is undergoing?

4. What will happen to the petitioner then?

1. It's not...other than potentially being on the hook regarding the I-864.

2. No.

3. No.

4. Nothing.

In the case of:

What If the person who files VAWA was not adjusted, meaning the petitioner did not file AOS for that person.

the person gets Green card through VAWA

oh ok!

Thank you. Will VAWA affects the petitioner's records? Sound like VAWA is for abuse case?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
