Hi! I just wanted to share my experienced during my naturalization interviewed so it will give you an idea/ picture out what might happen during your interview.

First, I submitted my N-400 form along with other documents last November 2013, then got scheduled last 5th of Feb. 2014 for my interview. I was so nervous but was so confident enough that I can answer all the civic questions that my immigration officer might ask me ( I'd said this because, I studied so hard the 100 civic questions, putting the CD of civic question and answer on my car disc, listening it while driving going to work and going home, HELPED A LOT) goofy.gif

So, I was scheduled to come at 9:30 am at Orlando USCIS office. I went there around 9:15 am, lined up the security check and handed my interview noticed and my state I.D., greeted them politely and then I heard one of the guard said " I am sure you going to pass!", and I replied back, "thank you!." Then, I lined up again for the receptionist, handed my state I.D. , green card, and my appointment letter. Then, the receptionist took my fingerprint and asked me to look in the camera. Then, I was told to wait in the lobby area where there were so many chairs. Now, I observed that this room is very quiet that when you walked you can hear your own footsteps. Then, I waited for about 10 minutes, which exactly 9:30 am in my clock my name was called. My immigration officer was a nice middle 40 aged man.. I greeted him first by saying, Hi! good morning, How are you? then he replied back I am doing great, how about you? then, we went inside on his office. Right away, he asked me to raised my right hand and this was funny because I raised my left hand ( because I am left handed),oops8rh.gif so, right away, I apologized and raised my right hand as fast as I can but it did not bothered him, in fact while I am apologizing he laugh, which give me enough strength that I am going to be fine. After that funny/ embarrassing moment. He then asked my passport, green card, state I.D., and my appointment letter.

He then asked me all the information I filled in my N-400. Like,

1. What is your name?

2. When is your bday?

3. What is your address?

4. What is your phone number?

etc. then, he asked me to signed the paper.

Then, he asked me if I am ready for the civic questions then, I said yes. He asked me 4 questions only instead of 6 or 10.

1. What is amendment?

2. What is the capital of your state?

3. What is the supreme law of the land?

4. Whom the US fought during WW 2?

Then, he stopped and comment, " You answered so quickly!" then I replied. " I think, when you study hard and heard the first word in the question, you exactly know what is the answer !"... then he said, you surely did!

then, I saw him checked a little box, then he gave me a paper and instructed me to read a sentence that was written

" The white house is in Washington D.C.", then he checked again and then he handed me a paper again and asked me to write " The white house is in Washington D.C.", while I am doing this he went to his computer and printed something. Then, he said! alright... congratulations! you passed the civic test, speaking and written exam. I am going to recommend to approved you. Then he handed me a paper and we shake hands and I politely said " thank you!" and exited that room with a big smiled on my face and saying " thank you God~!" dancin5hr.gif

Now I am waiting for my oath ceremony!. I

hope this naturalization interview experienced will help you on your upcoming interview. Goodluck to all and always had a confidence on you. Believe God is your guidance.!heart.gif
