hello, got my removal proceeding case dropped on july 15th of 2013 but submitting an approved i-130, on august 15th, i received a letter from USCIS saying some documents are missing and to resubmit them, i did that right away and since then its been 6 months and i haven't heard anything regarding my AOS interview, does anyone knows whats the usual wait for this? how long does it take for local USCIS to give me an AOS interview? any response or information will be appreciated, thank you

i entered through a visitors visa, B-1, but i am married to an american citizen and case is filed as marriage based. so i suppose i am adjusting from being out of status for years to filing it through marriage by my spouse.

Have you called the USCIS helpline and spoken to an immigration officer (Tier 2) who will be privy to more information about your case? It might be just a case of simple backlog or there might be something holding it up. Regardless still make that call if you haven't.
