Can someone make sense of this for me?

35 days after my fiancée was told at the interview that her visa was approved and welcome to the U.S that her visa is not yet issued however on CEAC site the status update changes more than 10 times but still says READY.

Hmmm... So they approved her at the interview? That's crazy it's taking so long afterwards for the visa!! Others have gotten their visas within 7-10 days after the interview recently. :-( We attended our interview on Jan-15 and were told they needed to do a final review of our case before issuing anything. They didn't need anything from us and here we sit...still waiting as well with our status update date changing now 8+ times. Ours also still reads "READY". Hoping you hear something soon! Our date changed last Friday again so I'll be on the phone w NVC to see what's up. Blah!! It's the worst waiting when you know you're sooooooo close to the finish line!! Hang in there and keep us posted :-)

She must be under some form of AP (Administrative Processing) and background checks?

Why not call the embassy to ascertain the reason(s) for the delay in issuing the visa?

That is the wonderful caviot with dealing with the embassy in Haiti ---> They contract out all calls through a third party that is Haitian-based and although they speak english, it is limited. In all the times we've called them, they have been of zero help, even being outright wrong with their answers provided. (I had one pretent to be talking to the Conulate himself... uummmm??? ) (O_o) Plus you have to pay $12 for every 5 calls.

The best option to find out what exactly is going on is to contact the NVC at 603-334-0700 and select option 3. . This has been the only source of help for us as the emails sent to papcons@state.gov also go unanswered.

They're not telling anything either, they say I have to call the embassy which is waste of time and money because CIVA can't tell you a damn thing. That CIVA thing is a scam

Couldn't agree with you more. CIVA is a complete scam! mad.gif So the NVC doesn't tell you anything either? Ugh!! How totoally frustrating! I make sure I tell them when I call that the embassy is very difficult to get ahold of, etc and I've always had luck having someone look further into everything. On hold with NVC right now actually as our case status has changed twice since last Thursday. <<fingers crossed>>

Well I hope soon you'll find something out. This is the most frustrating part of the process so far -- living day by day with absolutely no clue on when things will move forward. The not knowing is just ridiculous!!

My case status keep changing too but still say READY, I wonder what they're doing to it if anything since only the date is changing

Same scenario as mine...case status updated date changes but still reads READY as in "ready for interview"..... Has been doing this since our Jan-15th interview. I just hung up with NVC as they <again> cannot access the system to check on anything related to K1's and they are also closing early today due to weather. Perfect. Another night left to wonder.....
