So the typed paper of the Letter of Intent got lost in the mail that I was sending to the UK for my fiance to sign even though I sent it Global Guranteed express. I've had people here say that it can be written up and not have to be typed up. If so, does it matter if the paper has lines or not? Does the size matter? He's using a A5 paper with no lines is this alright??

Yes, it is fine.

Though, A5? Why not standard A4? Is that a typo?

He doesn't have any A4 paper. And the shops were sold out. Is A5 ok?

Uh, that's like half the size of a normal sheet of paper. Why doesn't he go tomorrow, first thing, get some normal paper, write his letter, mail it off? It will be the same as the post is probably closed now (5:12pm GMT).

Does it need to be lined or can it be plain?

Either lined or plain.

I just think a tiny scrap of paper will be hard to attach to/find in a file.

A4, A5, B12, Post-It Note, Omaha, hut, hut.

Corvus, I still say that all you need do is email a PDF of the letter of intent to him, then, have him get on his skateboard and go door to door if need be, or better yet head on down to the local print shop and give them a couple of shillings to print the thing.

He doesn't have A4 paper or pen so he;s going to go and buy those things tommorow and write it out. The Deadline for the RFE is May 1st. Hopefully when he sends it back express it doesnt take forever or get lost in the mail.

Does it not look good the longer you take to respond to RFE? It's been 10 days since we got it now.

The paper doesn't matter. He can write it on a post-it note if necessary. It he's got a blank piece of paper he can write it out and send it.

Use FedEx and it has less chance of being lost.

FedEx in England is what got it lost.
