Good day,

My brother filed for a VISA for his wife. She entered as a minor illegally and never went back. Obviously, her visa will be denied (She already got an appointment for CDJ this March 6th). Also, she filed for what I believe is the PROVISIONAL WAIVER, and got a receipt with the MSC code in front. I am not familiar with this new process and I'm trying to assist as they are having doubts on the help they had at an "immigration/notary office". Two questions for those who are already more advanced in the process:

1) is MSC a place that the provisional waiver gets handled?

2) if so, should the appointment in CDJ be cancelled until they received a decision on the waiver?

Thanks so much in advanced.

Hey! I got my provisional waiver approved. Yes she should not go to the interview since their going to deny her. She can cancel and wait til her provisional saiver is approved then she can go to her interview. I'm not sure about your first question. You should go to www.immigrate2us.net and post your question on the provisional waiver thread. There are more experienced people on there then on this site regarding this topic. Good luck!
