I was on the Paris Embassy website and saw this:

New online appointment system

To better serve the needs of non-immigrant visa applicants, we have instituted an online visa appointment service. This service is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week; a fee of $14.00 (in Euros) is charged, which permits up to five family members to schedule their visa appointment together. Please visit www.usvisa-france.com for more information and to begin the appointment process. Persons who whish to speak to a live operator may continue to call 0810-26-46-26.

Is this for fiance visas as well? That is a non-immigrant visa, after all.

Although the K-1 is a non-immigrant visa, it is processed with the immigrant visas. The embassy schedules all immigrant visa interviews for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 1.

4/21/06 NVC received/ Sent to Paris

Thanks shayrene! I see you went through POE at JFK. Did you get an EAD stamp?

Yes, my fiance received an EAD stamp. He didn't have to ask for it. They just stamped his I-94.

Wow - that's great! I think that we'll have to come in through JFK. Seriously, that is a HUGE deal!
