The promise was insurance for all the uninsured. A 40% success rate is not a success. And when it costs those who are insured more money, how does that make healthcare more affordable?

My point has always been that this bill is a farce. It is a major missed opportunity to effect real change in the American healthcare system. When gifted the means to pass the bill they should, the Democrats squandered the opportunity, squabbled amongst themselves, extorted as much pork as they could manage, and ended up passing whatever they could. As always, the American people we're let down, again.

What this Bill doesn't do is make healthcare affordable, despite the title of the bill. In many cases, it doesn't even make the insurance required to provide that healthcare affordable.

It is all about government control into American's lives. What you eat,drink(Blooomberg and the super size Soda pop) And I forgot breastfeeding..... He passed a regulation dealing with this I recall.... If you are overweight..... it will go on and on and on. This will be the future. Just look at the regulations on the calorie notification in eating establishments..
