Regarding DS-260/ follow to join status

Hello everyone..

i want to know something regarding ds-260 form for family immigration case....

my visa category is F4...petitioner is my wife's sister.....my wife's interview done on 4th feb 2014 and got visa...at the interview my wife submit my ds-230 form and another docs like marriage certificate, birth certificate, PCC etc...

case officer told to my wife tht she have to fill ds-260 for your husband...but when we go on website ceac.state.gov....showing status "not available "

fee "not applicable" and (the NVC received notification that the applicant will join the principal applicant at a later date)....

I have contact us embassy new delhi so many times and email them..but got no response from them....

any body suggest me what i can do? or any fees is pending?

so that i can accompany with my wife for US...not "follw to join" status

Try calling NVC. They have to make your DS260 accessible.

The IV fee of $230 may (I'm not sure) be paid at the consulate on your interview day. Bring your civil documents.

A new affidavit of support must be submitted too because you will be added into the household.

my wife submitted affidavit of support for me...case officer chked and attached affidavit of support with my file....(my wife had a additional copy of affidavit of support).....case officer made my profile at the interview time becoz previously my name not include in interview letter.....my interview date is 20th feb 2014...i have to fill ds-260 but embassy guy did not reply my emails...

Hi I have the same issue.

I am trying yo apply to my daughter and I get the same: "not available"/

When I call NVC they say my case is not in USA - its on consulate in brazil, and when I send emails to consulate (they don't have phone to receive uestions) they say to contact NVC.

So I do not know what to do.

If you could figure out what do to please reply.

Hello,i have a sister who is 22 and we filed for immigration in may 2003,and now me my father and my mother are applicable for ds260 from but its showing that my sister is not applicable for the ds260 form,but according to the child protection act we get the advantage of the period from when we applied for the immigration till their acceptance but still she is not applicable,Plz help what steps we should take. Write a letter to nvc requesting CSPA review for your sister. Search this website for an example of the letter you should send. I had the same problem and I wrote to Nvc and my son was added back.
