Seperation Anxiety

Hi there,

This is James Wife, Angie. We started all of this a long time ago it seems. I have been here in the States waiting for James to join me from the UK. We have been apart for nearly 4 months. I came here to set up domicile. It seems I just wait every day for him to get the letter for an interview date.

Apart from the pain of being apart all this time, I also worry that he will not get approved for some reason. I am working part time, and we have over $100,000 in my bank account over here. My husband is well educated and has no criminal record. Can you see any reason we would get denied? I am looking for some reassurance and some tips to get through the seperation. I am finding it very difficult right now. If only we had a date for the interview.

Angie

Aw chin up. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day alone can be depressing.

We didn't do a DCF through London. We did a K1. But anecdotally they aren't the toughest consulate in the world. On the surface your assets look to be enough for financial approval.

Apart from my little post here, probably the best thing you can do to find some solace is research the DCF forum for posters who went through London recently.

Good luck and Happy New Year.
