I, the beneficiary am in the PHILIPPINES. My husband, the petitioner is in the US. Should I make my husband send my civil documents to NVC? Or I should send them directly to NVC myself?

It's up to you, it really doesnt matter. Does your husband have your civil docs already? If not, think about it this way: you pay courier and send the docs to your husband, wait for him to receive the docs, your husband pays courier and send received docs to nvc, you wait for nvc to receive them. OR, you pay courier and send docs to nvc, then wait for nvc to receive the docs. :)

Originals or certified copies MUST be sent to the NVC. Doesn't matter who sends them.

Thats not how it works for spousal visas though..the OP needs to send the civil docs to nvc, and nvc will be the one to forward the docs to the embassy. K1 applicants dont need to submit anything to nvc. Edited by krispykreme
