Expedite for AP. Does anyone have any documentation example?

I called yesterday and requested an immigration officer to call me back. Luckily, they did, and the officer said that since I did my biometrics almost a year and a half ago, that USCIS will most likely still be able to use my pictures/fingerprints from that previous appointment. However, she couldn't look into my case and said that it was within the processed times which are 3-5 months. My grandmother's health has gotten worse since I sent my application, and the doctor said that I should go ASAP since he doesn't think that she'll be okay for very long and she really wants to see me. I'd rather see her while she's alive too.

I'm thinking about going to a local USCIS office with a new doctor's letter stating the recent changes in my grandmother's health to expedite my AP. I was wondering if any of you have any examples of documents or letters you've taken to expedite?

Is it okay going only with the doctor's letter? Should I bring a birth certificate or baptism certificate to show relation? I actually sent these with my AP, just wondering if I should bring them with me this time around.

Last year I was given an emergency AP, is not the expedite but I guess the documents should be the same. You can read my post here:

Is the doctor's letter in English? Mine was, and it stated that I was the daughter of the patient. I think they will ask you for a proof of relationship so I would bring the birth certificate as well. Bring all the documents you have, and whatever you can think of. Even if they have it in your file.

The letter will be in Spanish but I'll translate it to English before showing up at the immigration field office.

My letter was half Spanish/half English. It was a form from the hospital which was in Spanish (and catalan) and in the comments section, the administrative of the hospital wrote in English the surgery of my father with his name and his relationship with me. In fact, it was my mother who translated that text into English, the administrative just copied it on the form.

We had no problems with that letter to get the AP, I think the officer could clearly see that it was a form from a hospital (with stamps, etc.) and the English explanation was good enough for him. He really just wanted a document as a proof of the emergency so that he could put it on my file.

If you are going to translate into English the letter, you should probably do it through a certified translator and get a certificatiion for it. Just to make sure they won't put any problems with it!
