Hello Everybody,

I am almost done with all the papers. However I am writting the cover letter and I was wondering if I have everything on it. I am a student (F-1) who just got married. My cover letter would be the following one;

To Whom It May Concern:
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
ATTN: 1-130
P.O. Box 21700
Phoenix, AZ 85036

Nature of the submission: I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

Enclosed please find:

Form I-864 Affidavit of Support

Form G-1145 e-Notification of Application

Form I-765 Application for Employment Authorization and all supporting documents.

Form G-325A, Biographic Information Sheet, with supplemental attachments, for my sponsor and myself

Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

Includes:

o 2 photographs & receipt for photographs (date on the receipt to show they were taken within 30 days of the filing of this application on DATE, 2014)

o Check in the amount of $1365 made payable to the Department of Homeland Security

o Copy of my foreign birth certificate and the translation of this certificate

o Copy of passport page with F-1 Visa

o Copy of my sponsor’s passport

o Vaccination supplement (Vaccination Documentation Medical Worksheet) Form I-693

o Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) which also includes tax documents & letter of employment from sponsor, also proof of U.S. Citizenship which includes a copy of the biographic data page of sponsor

o Copy of U.S. Passport of sponsor

o Copy of marriage certificate

o A copy of Form I-94

o A copy of a Federal Government-issued identity document

o Evidence of bona fides of marriage:

- Copy of lease showing joint tenancy

- Documentation of joint financial account

- Letter from third party with knowledge of the bona fides of the marriage

I was also wondering if my husband needs a copy of his birthcertificate or if we are ok with just a copy of his passport. If he does need a copy of his birthcertificate, can we just make a copy of ourselves or we need to get one notarize or something like that. He born in the united states and his parents born here in the US as well.

Best

Maria
