Good Morning Noura and Congratulations!

Dinner sounds great, I got this giant crockpot for christmas...I was wondering what I would do with it first. Nice idea, thanks.

You know, I have taxes on my mind at the moment, so I feel like pointing out that you did good marrying on the last day of the year. You can file jointly now if you want and the break would likely cover your adjustment costs.

Sorry, its just whats on my mind.

Have a good day everybody!!

Happy New Year everyone. :)

Homemade cookies are good. Dessert after lunch is good. The cookies I had, Oatmeal and also chocolate chocolate chip, are yummy.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

Yes Welcome to 2007... May everyone;s year be filled with approvals, laughs not crys, blessings and hope... and maybe evn babies

Did anyone see those kuku people on Tv saying they saw a UFO flying around the NYC ball?:blink:

I realised today it is soon my birthday, and soon I will be 3decades old... not this year elhamdullah but soon....

I miss my husband... Where is that darned passport?

We went to a Cajun resturant for New Year's Eve...that was more French then Cajun...very all and all it was very luxe... Had a great meal of Greek salad, Parradelle Vesvuvio pasta, and a tiramisu for dessert. Later on went to a friend's to watch these 2 films she had... also we watched the ball drop in NYC. Wishing I were, actually my husband and I were there, I called my dH...talked for hours... then we watched our traditional film fest on New Year..until I finally was the first to fall asleep.... ugh...All and all a nice New Year... (still missing the dH thou)

Happy New Year everyone! My daughter got sick the night before New Years Even after we bowled. My husband worked but he got off before New Years so we got to bring it in together. The three of us ran over to a very good friends house a half a block away and brought in the New Years together. I made dinner and it turned out great! We all slept in on New Years Day! I found out that Emertol works great for an upset stomach, it helped my daughter, thank God!

So wishing everyone on VJ a Very Happy, Healthy, Prosperous, Successful, Loving (did i cover everything?) New Year (2007)!

As far as I can remember she was only going to be able to go for just over a week? Maybe ten days or so, so hopefully we will hear soon as she should be home pretty quick.
