Hello,

My US citizen uncle has filed visa for his son who is working in US on H1-B visa legally. They have applied I-130 and adjustment of status and have received their medical request. My question is this:

Can my cousin travel outside US before he gets his green card? Is there a document he can request which can help him do that? It it urgent that he travel to India. thanks for help.

Since your cousin is here on an H1-b, I will assume that he is over 21 years old.

When did your uncle file the I-130? Was that before or after his son turned 21 years old. How old is his son now? What is the basis for filing to adjust?
