  1. 1. Does that Korean pizza with the crust stuffed with potato sound so bad now?

Well I live pretty much in the general area my whole life and used to the breads that the bakeries put out. French bread is a must and of course small loaf bread to make a po boy or dinner rolls that I brown in oven and stuff like that. I have a place to get my raisin bread I like. I enjoy seeing a different bread and trying it. The newer Mexican breads have been nice additions.

What I am saying is that when one moves to a new area they might not get the exact same kind of bread they used to get back whereever.

Where I am, even the specialist bakery bread is half a page of ingredients. ohmy.png

And there are no good bakeries that make simple bread within 30 miles. None. sad.png

It might be what you are considering bread. All bakeries bake what the customers want. Different areas will probably sell different breads. Super markets have bakeries and some are large and all them carry breads. Usually many different types. If you are looking for a specific type of bread that you ate your whole life and that bakeries or bread type is obscure then you will have problems.

Since I have lived in many different countries apart from the US and the US is the only one I have ever experienced problems finding bread that isn't improperly prooved, loaded with sugar (or worse yet corn syrup) and loaded with ingredients to keep the item on the shelf long beyond the natural life of bread, I have to say you are barking up the wrong tree with your suppositions.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I also have been all over the world and stationed in Europe and Asia I have myself gotten around. I also have eaten breads everywhere. So again how am I wrong in what I said? I want bread anywhere I go to the bakery.

There was a fabulous bakery stand in the lower level of Grand Central Station, a few years back. Hopefully, it's still there. :)

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself
