Hi everyone I'm new here, I wouldn't usually turn to a forum but me and my fiancé are a little concerned, I had my interview on the 31st of January all went well and it was approved! However I am yet to receive my visa! (It's the 13th of Feb) is this normal? as I was told to expect it in a few days. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Ours took a couple of weeks or so. Sometimes they're slow with getting them processed and to the courier.

Ahhh good to know we aren't alone! Thank you!

Also, have you looked on CEAC? Does it say Issued? https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

It should look like this:

Mine actually says Administrative processing...

Case Creation Date: 03-Feb-2014 Status Updated Date: 11-Feb-2014
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

Keep checking that for issued. They all say that for a day or so. Past 2 weeks is unusual. If it isn't issued next week, then you may be in the AP administrative processing that means extra security checks. In London that is most often for those (or their parents) born in India, Pakistan, Middle East or other Muslim countries. Or those whom have multiple trips to those countries.

Ok well that explains why you still haven't received it. AP is the devil but it shouldn't take long for London. I didn't even see ours go into AP and I was looking like mad after the interview. A couple weeks of AP is a little odd for UK but not unheard of. It could be a number of things from them being slow or have some staff on holiday, to it getting delayed in the shuffle, or if they feel they've found something worthy of a further look.

The good news is that the courier hasn't lost it or anything. The bad news is it's impossible to say when AP will be over, but it *should* be soon, and then take up to a week or two to receive the visa after that.

Ahhhh hopefully this whole thing is over soon! I can't think of anything apart from the fact I went on holiday to turkey last summer , hopefully it's just because they are behind, the whole government shutdown slowed things down maybe it's a knock on effect , thanks for your help

I tried using the CEAC. But it keeps saying "application error" error has been reported to nerwork administrator??

They've had that issue this weekend, they're doing some maintenance on it I believe.
