I had my Polio and Measles vaccines when i was a kid, do i need to be given the same vaccination again before i travel to be with my husband. Please also let me know at are the vaccine i will need for the fact that im 24years?

If you have evidence of having been given the vaccines (ie doctor's records) then no, you don't need to get them again.

Hey Ritahcole,

Most people who were born in Kenya were given those vaccines as kids. If you are doing your medical for the purpose of immigrating to the US on a K-1 visa, the doctor who will assess you will let you know the vaccinations you will get at IOM Hospital, Measles and Polio will not be administered on you again. I would suggest you wait, not to get any vaccines anywhere else until you have an appointment with IOM. Carry your vaccination record with you, if you have it, though its not a must.

Thank you all for the help, i was done with the medical!. Waiting for the result of my sputum they discovered i had a scar on the x-ray due to the fact that i had pneumonia like 7 years ago.

I need help on below.

Kindly advice me, my fiance is planning to leave his current job end of this month to join some training for another job: Our problem is that we indicated his current job on the application papers and i have to reschedule my interview to May, would that bring any complication to our process. We are applying for a K-1 visa. Your quick response will be highly appreciated.
