I am trying to fill out this form but I'm confused with question number 18 it say's My Current annual income is???..

I am giving my 3yrs back taxes 2010,2011,2012

since it's already 2013 tax filing should I give them my Annual income year 2013? I won't be filing my 2013 tax not until March.

Will I need to give them my copy of W2 for 2013 just to prove my current income?

Copies of 2010, 11, & 12 ITRs should be sufficient. I only provided the most current years, 1, ITR and it was sufficient. You can provide a copy of your 2013 W-2 if you want. FYI, there was only a I-864 when I did hte AOS. So, things have changed - a bit.

  • 2 weeks later...

WARNING! the online I-864ez form doesn't always save the information entered in the Check Boxes Submitted our 864 three weeks ago, got an RFI today asking that I re-submit a new (completed) I-864ez form. Checklist they emailed me said there was missing Sponsor information. I pulled the form down from the USCIS website again and completed it again (just to make sure) and realized when I saved it, the X in the check boxes for Field #'s 14, 17 and 19 didn't save and I apparently didn't pay attention to that when I printed it the first time. This time I made sure before I printed it that everything was checked correctly and still field # 19 came out unchecked when printed. Verify everything is on every form you complete so they don't ask for it to be completed again. To be safe, I'm resending the entire packet again, including all of my tax documents just to make sure they don't come back and tell me they need those resent as well. Also, don't forget to attach their official Case Number Bar Code cover sheet to the front of everything you send them in bundles.

Current annual income = income you would make this year (2014) with the same job and rate of pay.

Easily done by if you are paid hourly

pay per hour x hours per week x 52 = currently yearly income

OR

salary x pay period x pay periods per year = current yearly income.

This is not the income you have made thus far, but your projected yearly income.

You prove current income via pay stubs and/or a letter from your employer stating your position in the company and how much you make per year.
