looking for k-3 experiences

it seems there is so much information about the k-1 process but im having a hard time finding any info about k-3 like how long the wait was for security checks. it seems most k-1 visa only wait a couple weeks, but i cant find how long some last for the k-3 anyone with experience plz, or let me know how i can find this info, much appreciated ty.

It looks like you already interviewed and are in AP if I read your timeline correctly. The visa type does not seem to matter in relation to security checks. I have seen K3's get their visa the next day and others wait months. Another VJ member interviewed in Casa the same day as my fiance. We are both still on AP. Nothing you can do but wait now. I don't even know if there is a time frame at which you can contact a congressman, like with the actual petition (where if you are outside of a certain timeline then they tell you to contact them).
