Christine: People have provided you with more than little information. Read all those, and if you feel confident, go ahead and work with your lawyer. Although he will drill a hole in your pocket, but it is up to you. Read through the whole list here both links, and advices, I don't think at this point you should ask more. Especially not focusing on immigration of your husband and kids and so forth. First, clarify things up if you can get citizenship or not. If you can, go ahead and go through that process and then focus on your family. If you cannot get citizenship (as others mentioned all the reasons why) then there's nothing to do, you're better off going back to Lebanon before you and your family get deported with a nice bar on you from being able to enter the US again.

From your answers so far (or lack there of ) It seems you didn't have the relationship before 18 ( or 21) to have your bio father apply for you under either path. You never stated what the relationship was prior to those ages. Either way you CANNOT enter on a tourist visa or VWP and claim citizenship here. You would need a green card. IF your father can petition you through an I130 the wait for a married adult child is years Current married adult children of US citizens are waiting 10 years for a visa number expect the wait to grow if nothing changes. You can not over stay a visa because you aren't an immediate relative. If your father dies before the 10 years are up you have no path .

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
