Hello all !

I've been reading this forums for a long time and I took steps to proceed with my i130 application with the help of the information here :)

Just yesterday, I received an email saying my i130 application has been approved.

I understand my next step is to start the paper work and bug the NVC for my number so I can prepare for the interview.

One thing caught my attention, the affidavit of support.

I'm filing the i130 for my husband and my 2 children. (I'm a US citizen)

I've been living overseas (Singapore) with them for the last 5 years.

But every year I do file my tax returns (its only been 3 years since I started working)

We don't have family in the US since my parents gave up their US citizenship. They were the only link to the US we had.

How can we get help for the AOS?

We do have property here in Singapore, my husband is working here and we do have some cash in our savings.

Will that be enough to convince them that we can support ourselves?

If it's impossible, is there other ways? Such as getting a bank to support the AOS? (Citibank maybe?)

I already sent out some resumes for employment in the US, if I do secure employment (or at least given the offer of employment), will that support the affidavit ?

Some advice would be helpful since we'r caught in a fix.

Thank you :)
