What form i should fill out for a Co-sign on i-864 (affidavit of support)?

Hello VJ,

My Parent Petition for my sister and brother who they are unmarried and Child Younger than 21 year old. They are all have paid for visa as required by NVC.

As my dad does have low income, he doesn't meet the visa requirement. He is now need someone to do paper work for co-sign, but he just have no idea on what kind of form he should fill out. Please help me out so we can move to further step.

he fills out the i864 as sponsor, if the other person is a joint sponsor, they sign their own i864 as joint sponsor

if the person is spouse or direct family member living in the same household, the person fills out the i864A

who would be the joint sponsor?

He is sponsoring his three child to USA. He is also living with his son who will be a co-sign for the petition.

I don't know how much his son earn in a year but I'm sure his father earn about 15000$/year.

Do you know how much he should meet the requirement to sponsor his three child?

Depends on who else may be in dad's household.

You need to figure out how many household members (following the I-864 instructions) and then compare his income for his household count on the I-864p.

as said it depends on the household size, if it's only you 2 plus the 3 children it would be a family of 5, if you don't have any other dependents that would be over 34K

what about the co sponsor, is he married, has children? how big is his household size, himself only?

He is not married. It's gonna be co-sponsor, the three child, n their parent in the house hold.

It should be 6 people in the house.

Again, I just want to make sure he should fill out I-864 n his co-sponsor I-864a. Correct?
