I received a text & email today at 10:46am from the USCIS letting me know that my Green Card has been mailed out to me now I just need the tracking number

Oh, and I forgot to ask. I know that while you're still using your EAD, your social security card would say, "Valid for work only with DHS authorization." When you get your green card though, will they assign you a new number? Or just a new card without the notation?

Once you have a SSN , it's yours for life. You will just apply for a new card without the notation!

It is but the next thing will be the ROC, but I have a breathing space before that is due. When you have your G/C in hand just go back to the SSA office & fill in another form but this time you can put in your SSN, & they update your status & you get a new card with out the "Valid for work only with DHS authorization." on it, you keep the same number it's yours for life. If you happen to go for your citizenship, when you get it you will have to pop into the SSA again to update your status for the last time.

You will be fine, just go through everything you have got from when you sent off your forms, & if you have got anything else new to add put it in ready.

EAD arrived yesterday, I went to the SSA and applied, they said that I will received my SSC in two weeks....
