This sucks. My EAD card wasn't in the mail today. :( Tracked it online and it has been in the same facility the whole day and it hasn't moved at all. Ugh. Maybe it'll be here tomorrow. :(

What is the scheduled delivery time? Mine was at one facility the whole day and then transferred during the night (when I was obviously sleeping and not tracking) and delivered in the morning.

Don't worry it should change within 2-4 weeks at most. It took 3 weeks for mine to change online to Interview and Testing status. Now waiting for an actual appointment time.

Sometimes the online system doesn't update or there might have been a delay, which wouldn't be surprising for USPS. USCIS uses priority 2-day shipping so even though the USCIS can't do anything about it unless it's been at least 7 days, you could call the USPS tomorrow and see what's going on if there is still isn't any movement.

How funny, I call to expedite my EAD process on Wednesday last week 04/09/14 they requested me to send evidence for the expedition that Friday 04/11/14..... And then on the 16th last Wednesday USCIS change my EAD status to "Card/Document production". And now today I received an email from USCIS saying that that request I summit for the expedition of my EAD is approved ...... I was lie what :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: ??? Tell me something new....!!!!!

  • (12 Days) 02/19/14 ---- NOA Received for all apps

I sent my taxes on Apr 15 by USPS Priority Mail. It was 3 different envelopes. Not a single one arrived on time!

Today it has been a whole month since my last status change (RFE response under review). My wife (the petitioner) called USCIS and told them that my new job starts in a couple of weeks. They told her that after 75 days I could request for what is known as an 'interim EAD'. I will call them on Monday because it has already been more than 75 days.

They told her that after 75 days I could request for what is known as an 'interim EAD'. I will call them on Monday because it has already been more than 75 days.

I thought it was 180 days, not 75

I did some research and everywhere it says that it is 90 days, but the person at USCIS told my wife that I can apply after 75 days. So confusing. Maybe I can apply early because my job starts soon.

Make sure when you call the USCIS you ask to talk to a tier 2 immigration officer, because the people who answer the phone initially aren't really any more useful or insightful than switchboard operators.
