I'm here as well, AOS package was received Feb. 18 (see timeline in signature).

My case status hasn't moved for 4 weeks now, but my lawyer says not to worry. I'm still waiting for an interview date... how long is this going to take?! I'm sure Texas is a busy state regarding immigration, but I wish things would move faster. So frustrating.

It's really painful. My lawyer says the same thing but the wait is excruciating.

Don't worry it should change within 2-4 weeks at most. It took 3 weeks for mine to change online to Interview and Testing status. Now waiting for an actual appointment time.

Please Let me know what's the process to get a SS card...!!!! once I get my EAD

Hi you need to fill in a SS-5 form then take it with your EAD card, passport, birth certificate your local SSA office, then after you get seen (eventually) you should get a letter saying that you have applied & you should get your card in X number of weeks. It's totally free.

Yeah, what everyone else said. They only looked at my passport and EAD. I didn't fill out a form because my computer printer is out of link so I assumed they would give me one there but they didn't have me fill anything out, just verbally asked me questions and filled it out on the computer I guess.

I went to get mine this week too. I filled out a form and the person took it simply threw it on the floor.... She didnt check my passport at all, just looked at the EAD card and wouldn't stop talking about how I just got the card, even counted the days since I got it....It was weird.

This sucks. My EAD card wasn't in the mail today. :( Tracked it online and it has been in the same facility the whole day and it hasn't moved at all. Ugh. Maybe it'll be here tomorrow. :(
