03/02/14 Received 3 NOA1 in the mailbox for AOS, EAD & AP

03/08/14 Received Biometrics Appointment for EAD & AP in the mailbox for April 1st!

04/01/14 Done biometrics for EAD and AP 9:00am and was advise to wait for a month and a half to receive a new notice.




My question is how low long normally it takes to receive a notice for the AOS (Testing and Interview)? My status online haven't change yet. Its still the same, last updated on Feb 28, 2014. I am worried that something went wrong, I have read a of you here have a fast moving application.. Please enlighten me! Thank you in advance!

Don't worry it should change within 2-4 weeks at most. It took 3 weeks for mine to change online to Interview and Testing status. Now waiting for an actual appointment time.

Nothing is wrong.

As per my observation for i485, it takes about 2 weeks after fingerprint to change to Testing & interview..

By the way, for the Fingerprint, you could have walked-in way earlier.

Nothing is wrong.

As per my observation for i485, it takes about 2 weeks after fingerprint to change to Testing & interview..

By the way, for the Fingerprint, you could have walked-in way earlier.

:dancing:​ FYI Yeah, I have tried to do so- but first I called them to ask if its possible- :protest: but they said its not and I don't have a valid reason. So I just waited for my appointment date. Btw its 1hour & a half away from our house and my husband was busy at work so his aunt was the one who took me there since I do not have a driver license yet..

I agree with the above - nothing to worry about just yet. I had biometrics on the 7th March & my status didn't change to 'Interview & Testing' until the 3rd April..

Don't worry it should change within 2-4 weeks at most. It took 3 weeks for mine to change online to Interview and Testing status. Now waiting for an actual appointment time.

I can be able to prove Financial hardship showing the mortgage bill charging us the last three month on wish We haven't be able to paid..... I called Wenesday, yesterday I went to congressman and he will send an email to the person in charge on my jurisdiction

It took mine 15 days to update, but it seems it takes most people anywhere from 5 days to 4 weeks, even longer. The average I've seen is about 2-3 weeks. For me this period was the toughest, because you have no idea what's going on. Good luck and it will work out soon enough. Keep yourself busy so you don't think about it. And if you do texting and e-mail it will just be a pleasant surprise when you are changed over.

2001-2005 F1 - College

  • (62 Days) 04/10/14 ----- Meet with my congressman asking him to call on my behalf to expedite my I765
  • (63 Days) 04/11/14 ----- Email recieved from USCIS Requesting proof of financial hardship and job offer FAX SENT @16:02 04/11/14
  • (68 Days) 04/16/14 ----- EAD Status change to "CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION" :dance: :dance: :dance: ----- notification Via E-mail and Txt
  • (73 days) 04-21-14 ----- As per USCIS Email EAD was Mailed today Tracking number ETA 4/23 As per USPS.com
  • (76 days) 04-24-14 ----- EAD arrived a day later than the USPS estimate, I went to SSA to apply
  • (83 Days) 05-01-14 ----- SSC Arrived AND THE NUMBER IS 123-45-6789 ....... :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
  • (95 Days) 05-13-14 ----- I485 interview date sent for June 16, 2014
  • (134 DAYS) 05-16-14 ------ INTERVIEW DAY........ OUTCOME IO SAY THEY WILL MAKE A DECISION IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS
  • (143 DAYS)06-25-14 ------ - E-MAIL & TXT RECEIVED FROM USCIS STATUS CHANGE FOR CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION THANK GOD....!!!!!!
  • (145 DAYS)06-27-14 ----- GC ARRIVED TODAY IN THE MAIL........

April 07 Card Production then EAD was mailed on April 10,2014! (65 days) (So happy) can't wait to get it in the mail then straight to the SS OFFICE. Interview in a few days nervous wreck but can't wait to get it over.
