It was the other way around with us.. lol

David and I decided to get married BEFORE reading about immigration..... then we put it off and he came to live with me in Brazil for two years. We tried not deal with immigration as much as we could... but then he missed home too much and I just felt I had to be his wife too much. The people who claim not to be superior continue to have a need to post their insults because the only way they can elevate themselves to where they wish they were is by putting down another.

They stay, bonding with each other, savoring their self-serving superiority and relentless denial, just as a killer often revisits the scene of their crime. They must constantly convince themselves (and others?) that they are the nice ones, and that they are the victors! They need that validation!

That is why this thread cannot die. The stink of their work is still calling to the hyenas even after the drama is so gone it cannot be revived.

You can have a view all you like. It's the way your view causes you to treat others that's - well - not nice.

Thank you Becca....that was well said! The condescending slightly uppity attitude is what makes this particular poster not so nice. One can have differing opinions without being this way towards others. With that said...I'm soooo over this!

You have all learned what I understood a LONG time ago...there is a difference in being educated and in being understanding. It doesn't mean you have to compromise your values or beliefs. It just means you respect the right of others to have theirs.

I think szsz is so old that she's set in her ways. Kind of like someone's old aunt who's been alone for so long that if anyone comes into their house and puts something where it doesn't belong, they completely flip out because THAT'S NOT WHERE IT GOES!! It's sad, but it happens, clearly even when someone isn't alone...
