My mother got US visa because I was US citizen and I filed for her ...so she is here on IR5 visa and got a green card last week...

does she need to do any thing else like I did...I mean adjustment of status or anything similar?

I assume her visa is not conditional visa so she does not need to do anything but just making sure...

hi

no, she already has her visa, did she pay already the $165 for the GC? she will get her GC and she can later go get her SS number if she doesn't receive it by mail

but for immigration process she is done for now.

she went through consular processing

She doesn't need to AOS since she will get the 10-year GC.

Follow aleful's advice regarding SS and GC payment.
