Hello,

I sent an e-mail to the NVC yesterday to make sure that they received my NOA2 notification and my petition and was checking if they already sent everything to the embassy.

I assume they are busy, but I am just excited, therefore, impatient.

When you e-mailed them, approximently how long ebfore you received a response?

NOA1 - APRIL 19th

RFE - SEPTEMBER 3rd

RFE REPLY - SEPTEMBER 11th

NOA2 - DECEMBER 20th 'approved'

NVC RECEIVED - JANUARY 9th

MEDICAL - JANUARY 24th

NVC LEFT - FEBRUARY 3rd

EMBASSY RECEIVED - FEBRUARY 7th

DS-160 and NOAR - FEBRUARY 7th

PACKET 4 - FEBRUARY 25th

INTERVIEW - MARCH 10th 'approved'

VISA ISSUED - MARCH 12th

VISA IN HAND - MARCH 17th

P.O.E (LAS VEGAS) - MARCH 18th

The only issue is every tiem I try to call there is a busy signal.....I found the information below in a post, but I still get a busy signal. Does anyone haev a different phone number for the NVC?

"For the NVC:

K1's are not tracked through the AVR, EVER. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:

1-603-334-0700

Press 2 for Non-Haiti-Related issue (Please note that this will probably change after some time)
Press 1 for English
Press 5 for an operator"

You just have to keep trying the number. I often get a busy signal. Try 30 seconds later and get through. I find the busy signal only happens during peak hours. If you call first thing after they open, or towards the end of their day it works like a charm.

My situation was waiting 2 months and still waiting case number ...See!! how dam sloppy they are

I really don't understand,some go through and faster but some go slow........

Well, at least you got your NOA2 in about a month and a half from your NOA1, so that's good!

Took me nearly 3 months to just get the NOA2

Or K-1 Visa Journey:


- November 9th, 2013 : Sent I-129f package (FedEx)


- November 15th, 2013: Check was Cashed


- November 15th, 2013: NOA1 e-mail notification (TSC) smile.png


- November 21st, 2013: NOA1 Hard Copy arrived. (Official Notification Date - Nov 14th)


- November 21st, 2013: Alien Registration Number Changed


- February 7th, 2014: NOA2 received by text & email!! (85 days from NOA1 to NOA2) dancin5hr.gif heart.gif


- February 13th, 2014 (14th in Philippines...Happy Valentine's Day Surprise Babe!!rose.gif heart.gif ): I-129F shipped to Dept. of State to receive visa #


- February 14th, 2014: NOA2 hardcopy received.... Happy Valentine's Day!


- February 21st, 2014: NVC assigns visa number. Can now schedule online, interview for fiance at US Embassy


- February 24th, 2014: Now have interview date!! (May 5, 2014 @ 7:30 am)


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Fiance finished medical exam & vaccinations (all in one early & long day) @ St. Luke's & passed


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): US Embassy - Manila (USEM) receives our case & is READY for interview


- February 26th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Able to reschedule for a March 12th interview date! Whoo Hoo!!

I emailed, and I received a reply after I had my visa in hand; which was about 2 weeks. I ended up getting an answer though as my mister called them the same day I emailed.

Call them, and if it's busy; keep calling!
