Ok so my hubby had his interview on the 5th and on the 5th it went to AP and then on the it went to visa being issued. We just bought his ticket yesterday the 10th and he doesn't have his passport. His interview was in PARIS and wanted to know if he will actually get his visa/passport on the 10th day. We are worried cause he will be leaving on the 22nd so please if anyone can tell me how long it usually takes to receive your documents after your inter view at the Paris embassy. please let me know!!!

Thank you.

ps( It seems that we always have to wait the longest for things to happen).

Visa issued same day? No ball.gif If not whats the waiting period? Usually 1 week. (between 7 and 10 days) Be aware that it may take longer during holiday seasons.

No one can say. It's not a locked in date thats why they say do not book travel until you get passport in hand. Hope it comes in time.

It is not a good idea to purchase plane tickets until you have the passport and visa in hand. The date issued is not always the date it will physically be recieved. Im not sure how your consulate operates, but some consulates issue the visa and then have a delivery service pick up the passport and take it to a pick up location. This can take time. Congrats and good luck.
