Travelling on AP while AOS pending, need to be reassured

Lallo dolly, We have travelled with combo card to Colombia re-entered in Miami. Advise allow plenty of time between flights if you are connecting it took us about 2 in a half hours to clear the whole process.

Now I am worried about next trip because agent put I 94 card replacement in passport with wifes maiden name even tho AOS/EAD card is en married name. Bureaucrats ARE IDIOTS. as we all know we could just come in throurgh Mexico and walk across the border in Az or Texas.

Is her passport still in her maiden name? That is why. You travel with the name that matches the passport. That is the name that should be on your ticket, even when the EAD/AP and green card have your married name.

Really? Have you tried it? You can just easily walk across the border in those 2 states with no problems, huh?

I was worried too but it was all for naught. My husband used AP with absolutely no problems. People use it every day. If your GC is approved, just enter on AP and go home. If you get a RFE, have your husband check the mail and deal with it.

Hi! Just wondering if you had any issues at the time of interview as to why your husband left the US while his AOS was pending? From my review, most people don't have any problems getting back into the US with their AP but I am wondering if perhaps down the line its a problem?
