You need to suck it up. February 13th, February 14th, October 13th... they are all just days in the year. News flash - wasting money on dead flowers or fattening chocolate isn't romantic. It's just wasteful. Put your money in savings, go bake your husband a cake, or perhaps thrown on some sexy lingerie and enjoy his company. After all, you married him because you love him, right? My wife is the frugal one. I always have to encourage her to buy clothes and I rarely let her get anything other than name brand stuff. She bought some bracelets recently online that were like $30 total and felt bad about it #######? Meanwhile, she won't bat an eye at planning f'ing three week long extravaganza's to Hong Kong, Cali, Korea, etc. Or spending stupid amounts of money on God's gift to food.
