Honestly 2006 was one of the best years of my life and I am sad to see it go. I had such a hard year in 2005 and 2006 totally made up for it .

2005 : Thought Ali would come and he didn't, struggled with work and school, people kept saying "Your still engaged?", a good thing was I went to visit Ali in Lebanon but when I came back I fell into a deep depression being away from him.

2006 : Al hamdullah Ali came in May !! Wedding was in June and got pregnant in July ! Finished school (B.S. in Child Development) in December.

2007 : I expect to have a great marriage and to deliver our baby girl in March or April inshallah. It will be a great year inshalah because it will be the year that I become a mommy, Ali becomes a daddy and we become a family.

Reunited and it feels so good ....

2006 was a great year for us. I took a better job in February and it came with a nice income increase. Mohammed worked full-time and made many good choices for our future.

2007 Mohammed will open a business inshallah and I will sell miles of flooring and design alot of kitchens and baths. My grandaughter will turn 4 this year and hubby and I will vacation in Florida this March.

Inshallah 2007 will be a great year!

2006 ~ an ok year for us..a lot of adjusting for noor and a lot of me adjusting to his adjusting

hard year at work with a lot of unfairness going on and me getting the ####### end of the deal

trying my best to NOT move to Texas and prove to Noor that we don't have to move to make alife for ourselves and that we can build it here with time and patience

2007 ~ high hopes for an entirely rockin' year!

found out that I should be getting a raise of more than 1dollar per hour! woot!

son will finnish with 2nd grade and his mean azz teacher

hopefully get noor his own car

I think most of the adjusting is done now so we should have a much easier year together enshallah

time will tell :)

2006 ~ Started out as a disaster, thinking my husband had died and then finding he had simply deserted us. But for the most part ended on a good note, finding the love of my life so unexpectedly, becoming engaged and making it most of the way through the visa process before year's end.

2007 ~ Hope to finally be reunited with my fiance, marry in a castle and start our family.

Sounds like several of us have the same goal for 07. Could be a lot of VJ jr's running around by the end of the year.

2006--I had the happiest and most exciting moments in my life and the saddest moments in my life. Met and married Sam and began this wonderful, scary, frustrating journey to bring him here and start to build our lives together here. One month afer marrying Sam my brother was killed in a tragic accident so this is one of the saddest times in my life. I will have these two memories intertwined forever in my heart. I so wanted Sam to meet him as he is one of the most wonderful, caring human beings I have ever known. May 2006 was fill with great joy as I got to travel back to Egypt to have a honeymoon with Sam. The end of 2006 has been filled with disappointment as we were hoping he would be here to spend Christmas with us.

2007-Filled with great hope and excitement for this year. Sam will be here eventually this year. But, we decided to create some good new of our own for 2007 and I am going back to Egypt in February to be with him. Maybe his interview will be scheduled during the time I am there. Always looking forward and never looking back!!

2001: left my ex!!! yay! freedom, here i come... with all the problems along the way - starting life over from the beginning with basically nothing.

2004: met my now hubby online and later in person.

2005: went back to see him and get married as soon as the divorce papers were finally signed by the crazy ex! then went back again. filed all the papers, everything looked so promissing... but... no luck

2006: 2 disasterous interviews in casa and one disasterous visit with the hubby, who knows why. Papers went back to U.S. and still no word what's going on and not much hope.

Car was totalled in the accident! No car for a few months.

My older son who didn't come with me when i left my ex came to live with me and the youngest son - another disaster - he's like a bomb waiting to explode at any time; brought so many problems and threats on our lives from the crazy ex! What a bad year!!! So glad it's over!!!

2007: who knows?

Met online - May 2004

Met in person - August 2004

Got married - May 2005

Filed I-130 - July 2005

Filed I-129 - August 2005

Interview - February 2006 - 221(g) - still under investigation.

Another useless interview - July 2006 - got nowhere!

August 23, 2007 - he's finally here!

2006~Got married Jan. 8 but had to leave my husband on Jan. 22 to return home, started visa process in March, moved into my apt end of April, went to visit Moh in July, got back and (like LM) fell into a depression, the rest of the summer shifted between good times with friends and my boys and the sadness of being away from Moh, Sept. K3 is approved and sent to Cairo, Dec. 6 interview, end of 2006...still no Moh as expected.

2007~Hopeful to be reunited with Moh (isa). Not sure exactly what this year will bring.
