If I get a warning and a post deleted because I post a story about a well know cleric talking about it's ok to beat your wife,but then someone calls most Christians ignorant then I feel it should be judged by the same standard. I am not ashamed of that

What's legit? If someone says they hate all muslims? Reporting them only guarantees you will not have any chance at calling them on their rampant racism. Its like you said, leave their posts up so we can all see who and what they are. Reports only help bigots look less like a bigot to those that didn't see their post.

For the most part you are correct, and I am sure if we had a Fundamentalist Christian government we would have many of the same problems.

Here is my issue with those of you on the left. When Christianity is attacked , it's all good, but let someone say one negative word about Islam and all heck breaks loose. People get reported, threads get shut down, people get banned. It's the absolute rush to dismiss radical Islam for what it is and the rush by Liberals to show how cool they are by embracing it. To be far the fundamental right does the same thing when it's Christianity vs Islam.

Here's another example. Islam, especially the ones that really piss you off, are super conservative. They embrace tradition and religion over any form of progressiveness. F, Ahmadinejad said there were no gay people in Iran. Is that liberals? Extremist Islamist are CONSERVATIVE. Strong followers of Islam have as much problem accepting liberal ideals as strong followers of Christianity.

From what I've seen a lot of VJ conservatives want to believe nazis were left-wing to validate their own views. The Nazis were "Socialist" in the same way that North Korea is a "Democratic Republic".

I never said it is only people on the left. I report when i see total hypocrisy such as the picture of Jesus with the why or so many of my followers ignorant, not because I object, but because I know the oppsite would get someone banned.

What I would truly like is for them just to leave us alone unless it is something way out of bounds like child exploitation etc.

I consider myself to be a moderate. Just because I don't believe in God or sleep with my gun, it does not make me a liberal.

If you report posts, any posts, then you are part of the reporting problem. Most of the folks that I know here rarely report anything. There are some lurkers here who never post, but like to report things they don't like.

Uhhh no. Nazis were National Socialist which is associated with the Right. Ask any good Russian commie vet from Ww2.
