For the most part you are correct, and I am sure if we had a Fundamentalist Christian government we would have many of the same problems.

Here is my issue with those of you on the left. When Christianity is attacked , it's all good, but let someone say one negative word about Islam and all heck breaks loose. People get reported, threads get shut down, people get banned. It's the absolute rush to dismiss radical Islam for what it is and the rush by Liberals to show how cool they are by embracing it. To be far the fundamental right does the same thing when it's Christianity vs Islam.

In another thread someone posted a picture of Jesus with the same Phrase-"why are so many of my followers ignorant". No biggie, heck I agree to an extent. What boils my blood is the absolute refusal of so many of you to hold Islam to the same standards. Not one of you made a comment about judging all, why did some judge Christians by the actions of a few. All the picture got was some likes. I reported the picture just to see if we would hold all to the same eggshell dance we have to do when discussing facts about Islam. I was told, the picture did not violate the T.O.S. and would stand.

Ok I am cool with that,cause as I said, I don't find it offensive. Now I said the same exact thing about Islam, and most of you went ballistic. I am sure it was reported and they will be along soon, to shut this down and take action, for the same exact thing that was ok when it was Christians. Because we all know we can call Christians every name in the book here, but having a frank honest discussion about the trouble fundamentalist Islam causes in the world is forbidden.

As I say, why would you start a conversation with a premise that requires muslims to go on the defensive.

Either you believe all or most muslims are either terrorists or otherwise somehow responsible/complicit in it, or you don't. If you don't, then you shouldn't be asking such loaded/prejudiced questions. All it does is expose your own ignorance.

My "ignorance" comes from being shot at by people because I am an infidel. Because I didn't believe like they did.

I said nothing that would require a non-fanatical Islam extremist to go on the defensive. I'm sure those feel the same way I do, perhaps more strongly, because it's a stain on their religion. Go back and re-read my question, and quit trying to twist my words. It wasn't loaded at all. It's the only religion I know of that espouses killing others.

Hell hasn't broken loose. Nobody's going ballistic. I don't think judging an entire religion based on the radical minority is fair regardless of the religion. To look at an act like this and define it as Islam isn't right. To look at suicide bombers and to judge Muslims for them isn't right. Just like it wouldn't be right to look at a Catholic priest molesting a child and judging Catholicism.

I actually do judge Catholicism by the actions of so many Priests and the total cover up by the church.
