I doubt that USCIS would publish the red flags they're looking for so best bet for you is to just do more research. Check out the different threads here on VJ about other people's experiences.

Don't be upset . we are all right because we are telling you truth. One of my friend he is a citizen now but married while on GC going to have an interview on Feb,24.

So now you already a married man on GC(CR1) . So wait and get ready for an interview in a couple of years.

Doesn't matter you applied I-130 now or later they will call you and asked you to prove your previous marriage was real.

Arnav,

Also how do you prove the arrange marriage wasn't set up prior? I mean it is an arranged marriage meaning when i went back to my home country after divorce was finalized, and everybody gave me huge pressure so i had to take everyone's words and they arranged girl for me. I have laid out my story above. I was in H1B while i married my ex. There wasn't any reason to marry one from here while i was in H1B and wait for 3 years to get my GC. my previous employer had filed i-140 as well. No issues while removing condition on my green card. I had provided solid documents to USCIS. I have lived in US almost 11 years. It just happened that the divorce had to file after ROC. just a co-incidence.

I am sure there will be extra scrutiny.

I think you are from India too. If not which country ?

Question

1) DIid You got your GC from a USA citizen not on H1b ? AM I right.

What's your green card category what's right on in it . If it's CR1 ot C1R1 .means H1b nothing to do with it. your case goes under that category. And you can not marry until finish 5 years term. until your wife/husband die or got divorce under battered spouse . let me know who is the petitioner in your divorce.

USCIS don't care about arrange marriage they will not ask you any question about it. they will ask you only previous marriage.

They will ask you from first day to current. means when u came here where u work , stay, why u marry here, and asked u finally prove it. it was bona fide marriage . because according to law on this CR6 category person can not marry until 5 years done. if you marry means RED FLAG up at USCIS. I can help you if you want.
