DoS no longer give case number for K1 visa

Hi everyone,

I just checked last night with DoS. Get someone on phone and told me that DoS no longer available to provide your case number so we have to call NVC. Last time my fiance call the NVC it took about 30 minutes before they answer and they just told him to wait the process :(. I read about their 1 year requirement contract and we tried to make at least 1 call but....this is my curiosity,

Will we get our NVC case number without calling them again? I mean, will they sent the notification to my fiance email address or to his house address for hard copy notification? Will apreciate any answers! Thank you!!!

K1 (I-129F) petition filed in August 2013 (Approved Feb 20th 2014)
13th May 2014: AOS (I-485) & EAD/AP combo card
21st May 2014: NOA 1 and biometric letter
11th June 2014: biometric appointment
13th June 2014: RFE received via mail
16th June 2014: replied to RFE
6th August 2014: EAD Approved, AP still in initial review
12th August 2014: got tracking number for EAD
( ) August 2014: Received EAD (I forgot what date I got them but I did receive them less than 5 days from the 12th)
10th September 2014: Interview Waiver received (I wished I was interviewed)
April 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice

I have a question about the case # as well.

Would the NVC email the case # and if so, how would I go about requesting that?

Or K-1 Visa Journey:


- November 9th, 2013 : Sent I-129f package (FedEx)


- November 15th, 2013: Check was Cashed


- November 15th, 2013: NOA1 e-mail notification (TSC) smile.png


- November 21st, 2013: NOA1 Hard Copy arrived. (Official Notification Date - Nov 14th)


- November 21st, 2013: Alien Registration Number Changed


- February 7th, 2014: NOA2 received by text & email!! (85 days from NOA1 to NOA2) dancin5hr.gif heart.gif


- February 13th, 2014 (14th in Philippines...Happy Valentine's Day Surprise Babe!!rose.gif heart.gif ): I-129F shipped to Dept. of State to receive visa #


- February 14th, 2014: NOA2 hardcopy received.... Happy Valentine's Day!


- February 21st, 2014: NVC assigns visa number. Can now schedule online, interview for fiance at US Embassy


- February 24th, 2014: Now have interview date!! (May 5, 2014 @ 7:30 am)


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Fiance finished medical exam & vaccinations (all in one early & long day) @ St. Luke's & passed


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): US Embassy - Manila (USEM) receives our case & is READY for interview


- February 26th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Able to reschedule for a March 12th interview date! Whoo Hoo!!


- March 12th, 2014 (11th in US): Fiance interviews @ US Embassy....... APPROVED!!! YEA BABE!!idea9dv.gif dancin5hr.gif biggrin.png kicking.gif

This guy has a GREAT website with that info: http://visaconnection-philippines.com/

Just click on the NVC link at the top of the page. There's an e-mail address where you provide them the USCIS number, and they won't e-mail you back until they have a case number for you, which they will include in the e-mail.
