Congratulations to ALL who have recently been approved.

My RFE is for a MEdical exam and vaccination supplement. I was hoping there wasn't any problem coz they gave me an incomplete copy of the documents. The I-693 copy was missing! It was too late when I noticed it coz my husband already dropped off the RFE response on his way home (he was the one who picked it up from the CS). I called up the doctor's office and they assured me they sealed the envelope with all the necessary documents inside.

I can't help but worry, because anastasia's AOS was denied due to incomplete medical docs. I thought, if i were to be approved, I should have been approved a week or two after, like most CSC transferees with RFEs. I don't know what to do at this point. In my more gloomy moments (like right now), I think of the possibilities, thinking of how it's gonna affect my family coz I have a 20 month old daughter. I know I shouldn't be thinking negative, but sometimes, I just can't help it.

I'm praying everything will be fine. I will keep everyone posted. And to me and to the others still waiting, good luck!

Maybe you should send in a copy, along with a copy of the RFE notice (I'm assuming you DID take a copy of the RFE..... :P) and state that you believe this document should have been included and you're not sure if it was. My feeling would be that it's better to give them two copies than none, although it may take a while for it to catch up with your file.

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.

My wife's RFE response has never been acknowledged, and there have been no touches since November. I know they received the RFE, and I emailed the CSC officer expressing my concern. He emailed me back saying "yes we received it and now we are waiting on the FBI." So it is not unusual to receive no acknowledgement from them.

My next step is to call my senator. Her EAD expires soon and we assumed she would be approved by now.

I don't want to freak you out, but when I sent in my RFE response I saw everybody else was getting approved who sent their RFE in, but I had no updates on my case at all. Then after a bit more than a month they sent me the denial letter, the status online still doesn't say anything about the denial btw, alls it says is "we received your RFE response...". So if I were you I would email them just to ask what's going on and then if you get a positive reply from them you would at least stop worrying about it as much

Get those vaccination supplements in with your application people. A simple RFE for the supplement can lead to stories like this.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Same here. Still got a RFE for a complete medical exam, even though we included the I-693A (vaccination supplement) with our initial AOS paperwork.

Thank you very much for all the responses. I am freaking out, even though my husband tells me not to worry...

I emailed CSC right after I posted the topic on VJ. So far, no response from them yet. I did get 2 "touches" after they received my RFE. I called up USCIS and hung up after about 10 min when I couldn't get to where I can talk to a Customer Services rep.

YEs, I might have to do that. Go the the Civil Surgeons office, get a copy of the I-693 and mail it to them. Probably too late now, but, who knows...?

I just got a reply from CSC. It says that " the file is under officer review at this time..." And that should they come up with a decision, I will be notified immediately.

At least, i think, that's a positive sign. I just hope that their decision will also be positive. Plenty of time to pray for a miracle to happen...
