Social security will have the word " SOCIAL SECURITY " on the top and then 9 numbers as this format xxx-xx-xxxx.

Middle line has one sentence likes " This number has been established for "

Then your name below that sentence. The signature line is on the bottom of that card.

The card is made from paper and blue color for social security.

The driver license or debit/ credit card is made from hard plastic.

Yes, sign it and place it back inside the envelope and memorize your number.

I placed mine inside another plastic envelope with all my other civil documents (birth and marriage certificates).

I have another question Please, when this social security card expire ?, when the 2 conditional years' GC' expire?, Im right?,

Your social security number is yours for LIFE, it never expires. Even if you lose your residency and later return to your country -- if you ever come back to the USA even 30 years from now, your social security number will be the same one. It's more of a national identification NUMBER, than a real card. You can replace the card (for a fee) if you lose it, but it will always be the same number.

Also, as the above poster noted -- it's better NOT to carry your actual card in your wallet. Place it someplace safe and memorize (or write down) the number elsewhere. You will only need to show the actual card on one or two occasions: when you get a new job is the only real time they will ask to see your card, possibly some banks will also want to see it if you open new accounts. Otherwise, your number is all you need.
