Travel Question

My fiance has travelled extensively during his lifetime. Particularly because he lives in the EU, travel to different countries was so easy... so, these questions on both forms that ask for a list of places and dates travelled - he doesn't have all the dates and places.

Any recommendations on what to say? Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks!

Hello!

Could you tell me on which form they asked that? I remember there is a question for the places he has lived since age 16 but I don't remember the question about traveling... (He filled the forms, I am the USC so I am not sure, sorry)

Thanks for your answers - you are right, it's only for US travel.

However... (isn't there always a but??)

DS156, Question 29, has space for one visit to USA. He has travelled here at least 10 times, to visit me, and with his family before me. He does not have all those dates.

DS230 Part 1, Question 25, asks the same, but only has space for 4 trips.

Recommendations on what to do?

For both questions, answer 'see attachment' and include a document to each form listing the dates. If he can't recall exact dates, state for example, '3 weeks June 1999'. Entry stamps in his passport should assist you in ascertaining these dates.

What they are looking for is willingness to be forthcoming with information. If you at least list all the trips, you aren't going to be punished for not remembering the exact dates.
