Good Morning,

I have a quick question, my daughter's petition is at NVC for completion. I am wondering the length of process of petition for your children is different from the process if you petition your spouse? I noticed for those spouse's petition is much faster than the children, this is only base on my observation and I hope it's not true. Please tell me what can say about this. Thank you.

Thanks Apple21, just a little worried. My daughter's PD is 11/22/11 and i see a lot of PD's in 2012 and 2013 their cases are competed and alot of them had an interview already. I know ours is coming very soon so I guess I have to be more patient.

I feel you. So many 2011 filers encountered problems with USCIS including 2012 filers when they literally stopped approving i130 filed by LPRs.

You'll just have to be pro-active and be ahead of the game. Did you already submit the AOS and IV packages?

Yes I did, I mailed the AOS in January 17th.

What about the IV package? It takes NVC 20-30 business days to review a package. You can estimate the case complete date thru that unless they issue a checklist.

Yes I did sent everything to NVC, Anyways I received an email from NVC and there were missing documents from AOS. On the letter this what they said;

We have finished reviewing your case. We will tell you when we set an interview date for your case. Please do not contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MANILA, PHILIPPINES about your interview until we give you the date.

We saw that either your Affidavit of Support was incomplete, some of your supporting documents were missing, or both. We have marked the missing items on the checklist below.
You should send any of the missing items to ______________ so he or she can take them to the visa interview. The Consular Officer will review the missing items at the time of the interview.
Please pay special attention to any items related to the Affidavit of Support form. If the checklist shows any problems with the form, you should complete a new form and send it to _________________________
If you do not send the missing information to ___________________________, his or her visa application could be delayed or denied.

You send the missing documents to your child. He/she will bring it to the interview.

The consular officer will review the documents and decide if its acceptable or not.
