I have possibly a unique question. My birth certicficate shows my legal name..but since a child i have gone by my stepdads name..BUT i have never actually changed my name. I use my 'latest' name even on my social security. On my passport..they made my use my birth certificate name but says to 'see back' which uses my latest name which is also on my driver liscense,etc. So far in lifeit causes me no problems..but if i am to file for the k1..im worried that it cud cause a big delay?(sincei must show my birth cert. and my name wont match> Maybe wen it is time to marry i come across same situation? Short of legally changing my name(i dont know how long that will take..) any advice on wat i may need ot do..or if there will be problems? thx! Mike from Cali.

On part A of the I-129F put your Legal name (Name on birth cert) on line 1, and put the name that you normally use on line 7 (Other names used)

Same goes with form G-325A
